Alternative seating arrangements and fidget toys are very effective and helpful self-regulation tools for our students with autism or attention disorders. Students use fidgets and sensory items for calming and alerting, to promote focusing and concentration, decrease anxiety, and to increase awareness. Several students on my caseload need sensory breaks and a quiet place to relax and learn throughout the school day. Your donation will provide my classroom with a "cool place to chill and learn", and sensory fidget toys to help students improve concentration and focus! I am so lucky to have a new group of students eager to learn this school year!
