Many of my students are disengaged in school because they have not felt success in traditional activities. It is my goal to introduce Breakout EDU boxes in my classroom to give students an opportunity to experience success. Breakout EDU Boxes will change the way my students think and make them more successful in the 21st century skills of collaboration and critical thinking! These items will not only make class more exciting for students, but they will really challenge them and make them think outside of the box. By utilizing different strategies and technologies my students will be able to take the skills they learn in the classroom and translate them to real life. These boxes will also all me to differentiate instruction in my class. I will able to work with small groups of students while others collaborate with classmates to open their boxes.
