Students will be able to learn hands on functional skills needed to gain employment as well as generalize those skills needed to be successful in an everyday setting. The materials requested will focus on fine, gross, hand-eye coordination, temperature control, measurements, and being able to use tools for everyday survival. The materials requested are related to cooking, cleaning, and life skill tools. For example, hot plates are needed to mimic a stove at a residence. Students will be able to manipulate the temperature and settings so they will be able to cook nourishing meals in a safe and supervised environment.

About my class
