For the past few weeks I have used the projector to give my students the opportunity to see the music that they are singing. It is important for them to understand certain conceptual points in this written notation. They will use these skills to read and write music in later years. If my students could each have a binder to put music in to follow, they would be able to take notes in their music and remain focused on the activity at hand. Since the beginning of the school year, I have not had enough chairs for all of my students to sit in, and therefore believe a rug for my classroom would benefit them greatly. The floor is never swept and my children are forced to sit amongst the dust. All I would need is a large sized rug for my students (K-8) so they need not worry about getting dirty.
