By having the use of a plasma cutter we can incorporate new metal technologies in the manufacturing and construction classes. By using the plasma cutter and learning how it works, why its more efficient, and the use of cutting metal with it will provide these classes new skills that the students can take with them a lifetime. This class also allows student to receive a High School credit while starting them on career preparedness. These students are learning about building structures and about creating machinery for the manufacturing industries. Even if the students do not choose a career in these fields they will still have skills they can use in every day life.

About my class
