My classroom library is a place that my students and I really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. These books will help boost my library selection so all my students, regardless of their reading levels will have options. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level. They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and having a variety of books to choose from will motivate them. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will help keep that love for reading alive.
