Thank you for visiting our DonorsChoose.org page. We are trying to collect enough money to create and send 38 portraits to children in another country. These children are either living in war torn countries, orphans and/or living in severe poverty. The portraits WHS art students will create will be sent to the children directly to keep as memory of their childhood. This is a great opportunity for our students to learn about another country, how people in that country live, doing something kind for another young person and so much more. The Art II, III and IV students at our high school are all extremely motivated and hard working students when it comes to this experience. We do many special projects throughout the school year but the funds it takes to run these projects adds up fast. We have done a variety of things to raise the money in the past but this year we are asking for your help to brighten a child's day.
