I strive to provide open ended materials for my students in all areas of my room. The block area is always a popular area for children to work in. By providing the ramps and ball set my students will be able to extend their knowledge and curiosity about how things work and various ways to manipulate them. The community vehicles will provide the opportunity to use different materials on the ramps. The garages will allow them to further their problem solving and exploration skills. The LEGO StoryTales will allow them to incorporate retelling stories into their block play strengthening my students language is always a goal of mine.
