It will allow my students to work independently. Computer based programs help my students attend better and learn faster and practice longer. They will be able to listen to the instruction that is already programmed in the reading and math programs in our lab. They will become fluent with basic facts and learn to navigate different interactive sites. It allows for differentiation and my students will learn at their individual pace. They will use headphones to access the various research based interventions that are online like Free Rice.com, starfall.com, fcrr.org student activities, Khan academy, Reading A to Z, and other sites. District has purchased several site licenses but without headphones my class cannot use it.
