The materials that I am requesting will provide my first grade students with a cozy place to read and listen to audio books. First grade is such an important year for children! It is when they truly become readers and writers. I would love the opportunity to provide them with a cozy place where their imaginations can soar! When children have the opportunity to listen to audio books they learn how to be active listeners as well as hear fluent reading. After my students listen to an audio book they work together to complete graphic organizers to deepen their understanding and develop much needed comprehension skills.

About my class
