In a Montessori classroom, the students spend most of their time working on independent projects and small group lessons. These materials will help me to better instruct my students, and will help the students to better instruct themselves. They can use these hands on manipulatives to work with their materials and teach each other. The Digital projector will be most useful for me as a teacher. I will be able to show an image on the screen, rather than having all the students crowd around one object, pushing and shoving to get a better look. Students also spend some time each day learning yoga poses and breathing exercises; but they need yoga mats!
