Having this table in my classroom will greatly enhance the learning of my students. Being able to meet with my students daily in a small group setting, allows me to better meet the individual needs of each child. Having a comfortable and inviting space to do so gets the children eager and excited for our time together at our table. When I make a space inviting and fun in my room, my students' faces light up and it shows in their readiness to learn. This product I have selected will allow me to spend time I need with my students who really need one to one support and small group instruction. My goal while having my students at my guided reading table is to work on my students' ability to read. I will teach them strategies to read and build them up to be effective, proactive readers. So much learning takes place in this space and having this table would really allow me to make the most of the time I have with my students in our small group. This table will really enhance our literacy environment and enhance my students' learning abilities.
