Osmo is an interactive program that allows students to have an opportunity to practice things such as math while feeling like they are playing a game. This will be used during both our math centers and reading centers to give the students an option during rotations beyond worksheets. It will help the students continue to fall in love with learning while expanding their knowledge. A lot of my students do not have access to regular technology due to the low income neighborhood that our school is located in, so when our class has an opportunity to do something that involves technology, their faces light up with excitement and they instantly become engaged. I want my students to have the maximum opportunity to have fun in school while filling their minds with as much knowledge as possible! My students deserve to be exposed to some sort of technology even if it is just for the times we are in the classroom.
