This will be a fabulous immersive assessment of my students understanding of Ancient Egyptian Culture. Kids will create replicas of their favorite aspect of Ancient Egyptian life. The modeling clay gives the the opportunity to re-create pyramids, Sphynx and various statues. Students can also sculpt miniature busts to paint and show the Egyptian use of Make-up through their artistry. Some students will choose to model the Nile river with its vast resources and configure boats to paint and show its economic uses and its contribution to the power of the Egyptian Empire. The class will the present all projects proudly to each other. I envision this to be totally engaging from beginning to the presentations for everyone. I am so excited to see my students get the chance to express themselves creatively. I am attempting my first Donors Choose project because I have numerous students who cannot afford the poster board, let alone glue or glitter. Please help me to give students what they are unable to purchase themselves.
