Lessons will include but not limited to: Sequencing, sorting, reading/listening skills, money management, time management, and motor skills are all areas of need for my special needs students and this project will provide the needed exposure, instruction and skill level adaptations. Sequencing: gathering the laundry and applying learned steps for washing (detergent, temperatures, cycles,.etc.), drying and folding Sorting: students will sort according to the classroom, material, and color Reading/listening: Students will read any specific instructions from teachers for washing/drying, students will develop/read and follow a laundry checklist (this could also include a braille checklist, picture list and/or tactile symbols), students will record daily activities.
