My two classes of fifth graders are absolutely amazing!! They work hard everyday to learn new skills in math and to successfully complete experiments and labs in science. All of my fifth grade students are talented and smart individuals, and when they come together to share ideas, it is amazing. My students and I strive each day to build a community of learners and to share ideas and experiences to become the best we can be. We delve deep into the topics we cover in class, and we connect it to our personal lives in some way. The work that we accomplish in this class includes building relationships, sharing ideas, and students working very hard and help each other as much as they can, when they need to.
