By using the whiteboard table, markers, and erasers while working with the students, I will be able to see exactly what students are thinking and if they are able to understand and master objectives that have been taught to them. This will range from students planning out a script to their iMovie that they are going to create, to 1st graders writing rhyming words, to 4th grade students working out multistep equations. By donating to this project, you will not only help improve student engagement, you will also help with academic achievement. Students in kindergarten through 5th grade will also be able to share their work with not only me but with their peers by using the whiteboard table and supplies. This will help boost their self esteem as well as their desire to learn!
