The Montessori Method values each child's individuality and their work. When each child has a designated place to keep their work, it sends the message that his/her work is important, and that he/she is important. These cubbies will be utilized and enjoyed year after year, impacting 26 plus students a year. They will be of great benefit to supporting student learning and helping build the self-esteem of each student by providing them their own special space in the classroom. The furniture will also open up the classroom, supplying more space for students to optimize learning. Student cubbies are an important part of every classroom, allowing students to keep their completed work, and ongoing projects in a safe and personal space.
