The students in our school are considered well below the poverty level. Over 96% of them are considered economically disadvantaged. Many of them do not have books at home to read and I would like them to have the opportunity to make at-home reading count. With this donation it would afford them the opportunity to take books home each evening and to be able to discuss them on a daily basis. Through rich class discussions they will be able to build their comprehension skills and understanding.

About my class
