The photo represents one of the spaces I have been given at 3 different schools to teach my students. As you can see, there is no white board/chalk board in the room. I am asking for the bean bag chairs to give the students a comfortable space to learn. When one is comfortable, they are more likely to become engaged in learning. The students will have a choice to sit in these chairs in a small group rather than in hard plastic, metal or wooden chairs. The portable desk top white boards and markers allow the students to work on writing as well as math during a lesson. It is a fun way to assess the students knowledge and understanding. The majority of my students enjoy color, which is why I asked for three sets of different markers. This way, I have one set at each location I go to. The games are a way to learn in an engaging way and to add fun to learning. The games will travel with me to different locations depending on my students needs and if the game will benefit their individual learning.
