My students are enthusiastic visual learners. They need to see and do to learn the concepts in the classroom. With the Michigan economy ranking in the bottom half of the country, our middle class and mid-poverty student demographic is expanding. Our district is one of the largest in the state, yet receives the least amount of funding per pupil. Despite the fact that our state is on the economic decline, the students remain positive and willing to learn. They work hard each and every day on their academics and the life skills that I teach. Earning the coveted Integrity Bracelet is a goal each of the students strive for constantly.

About my class
