The need for workers well versed in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics has grown exponentially over the last decade. The students in my classroom will be employed in jobs that have not yet been created. An essential part of preparing students to be part of the future workforce is constant engagement with critical thinking, cooperative problem solving, and technology. By having an assortment of STEM materials and engineering kits, I can provide students extensive opportunities to do all three of these. These STEM resources will allow my students to work cooperatively, think critically, and solve real world problems.

About my class
