I hope to expose my Baltimore City public school students to technology and computer programming in order to contribute to the district’s Blueprint for Success. This endeavor would be benefited by the use of Smart Technology such as a Newline Interactive Display Board. Our technology lab currently has a standard whiteboard and a small projector. I teach computer science to all of the students at our school, grades Pre-K to 8. These students are primarily from economically disadvantaged families. Our children deserve equitable opportunities to learn critical skills in STEM that will allow them to go on and successfully fill one million computer science jobs that go unfilled each year in our country.
