One thing I love about our classroom is that we have tables, instead of individual desks for students to work in collaborate groups. The downfall on not having desks, is their supplies are being stored in different places in the room or in plastic storage drawers at tables. This takes us a long time to transition between subjects due to having to retrieve our supplies. Having seat sacks on each student's chair will help tremendously with transitions and ownership of their learning and supplies. This will benefit my students greatly, because they are able to have access to their daily materials quickly. I am requesting a class set of seat sacks so each student can be ready for instruction, learn organizational skills and take ownership of their materials.
