My students are 4 years of age and are excited about being in Big School. Our school is located in Louisiana and is a Charter School which is committed to nurturing and encouraging creativity in all the arts. My students enjoy playing in the Dramatic Play Area of our classroom. There they can dress up, cook, grocery shop, and even build things to enhance their play. Our school is in a high poverty area with more than 99% of the students receiving free or reduced lunch. The families of the students have endured several challenges from Hurricanes, floods and oil spills.
