These two educational outings to SCENIQ (Students Conducting Environmental Inquiry) will be perfect for our classroom as it seeks an immersive half-day learning experience at Pepperwood Preserve. Students become field researchers as they ask their own questions about the natural environment and explore to find the answers! The group will be immersed in nature on the Pepperwood 3,200 acre preserve where the students will search for reptiles, try their hands at animal tracking, take an adventurous hike, and experience more environmental-based inquiry. Students’ field experiences are augmented with hands-on activities and science explorations in the classroom complex at the Dwight Center for Conservation Science.
