Dry erase markers are an alternative to just using paper and pencil and they help the environment because we don't have to use as much paper. In my classroom dry erase markers are a fun way to respond to questions I ask. When I allow them to write on their desks they become more interested in learning and start to see school in a fun way. It's important that our classroom environment stays clean so we use the wipes to clean our desks once we've finished. We also use them to wipe our desks down after we've done our science experiments.
