Our science curriculum requires us to teach students about animals and their habitats, and many of our students are interested in extinct animals and their habitats, as well. Our students are dinosaur fiends! They love learning about anything dinosaurs. We are hoping to take them to the Dinosaur Park in Ogden to learn more. My students learn things best by experiencing things that are more than just textbook examples. They love to feel, touch, and see what things are really like. The Dinosaur Park has amazing instruction and guides that tell the students what each animal was like and how they lived. They remember what they have learned so much better when they are in a hands-on learning environment. Our students are sponges ready to soak up learning about animals and their life cycles. At this age they are intrigued by dinosaurs and are eager to research them and learn all they can!
