Students often have accidents and, if no extra clothes are available, have to wear diapers or no underwear or dirty shoes creating shame and opportunities for regression during potty training. Having additional underwear and shoes will provide students the opportunity to recover quickly from accidents and continue joining in with the rest of the class. Adapted seating allows students to meet their individual and sensory needs while maintaining focus and attention to learning. Having a variety of adapted seating options is crucial to determine what works best for each student. We are losing our storage cabinets in our move so having storage bins will allow us to easily change out toys and materials, ensuring engagement and maximizing time for learning and planning. We would like to ask for your help in ensuring our students have consistent access to high-quality equipment and toys. Some of the items we will be purchasing would include a new painting easel, printer and ink, fine motor toys, building/block toys, books, and storage solutions just to name a few.
