We are a small charter school in New Jersey. Our school is just three years old and already we have made an impact. My students are special education students in a resource replacement language arts room. They come to me in 5th grade and are often on a 1st or 2nd grade reading level. They come in with the weight of the world on their tiny shoulders. However, they are the most creative, inspirational group of students. We may not have a lot of resources but we use what we have the fullest ability possible. They are hard-working and loving students. They have been told they "can't" do so many things that in my room we show then they can!
