Microscopes will give students a huge advantage in studying Life Science. During this unit, students will be able to recreate the life cycles of plants and animals. During the research centers, students will look at the different plant and animal parts to be able to see how they are made up. It will show them what they are unable to see with their bare eyes. They will draw different parts and label them by looking at the parts through a microscope. Hands-on science makes a world of difference for young students. While doing activities the children become very involved and are so excited about learning. If students just see pictures in books or only read about the subject, they don't feel the excitement of learning. I know my students will be very excited about learning. I'm excited to implement new strategies so these students will become life long learners and will love SCIENCE!
