I have chosen a variety of hands-on activities that are fun and educational. Engineering is a key component of the first-grade science standards, and these activities will help students apply their knowledge with fun, reusable materials. Now, more than ever, my students are excited to build and create. Since we have returned to school in a hybrid format, I only have about half the class at a time. This means they can each work on a project at their own station. When we return to a more traditional school model, I can use these activities in centers and as team projects.
