Every morning my students come to school excited to learn. My goal is to help harness this excitement and curiosity and channel towards reading a wider variety of books. I believe that students should read many genres and styles of books in order to improve their own reading skills. In addition to improving literacy, reading new styles of books helps students to learn about other perspectives. In this project, I am asking for help to buy more graphic novels, poems, and novels written by a diverse range of authors. Please help us increase the number of engaging books in our classroom library. The students want to read; I just need to provide the books!
