My students need a welcoming and comfortable environment to learn in. I would love for my class to have more whole group time away from their desks. It is very important for them to get this time. This is where they are able to open up about their daily lives, listen to stories, and have whole group activities about the lesson. This rug will help my students have an organized and positive way to learn. The rug does have fun animal alphabet squares for them to sit on to help keep them in their own space. Not only will this help me keep them focused on what we are doing, but it will help them to understand and comprehend the lesson more. It is a nice change to have the students move from their seat into a nice cozy area to learn.
