The Creative Lego Brick Set for Education that I have selected will give my students with autism the tactile and visual support that they need. When a student can be involved physically an ASD student has a better chance of comprehending. So many times we as educators tend to use too much speech/talking to learn. By doing, these students get a great sense of accomplishment from their efforts. Learning place value, fractions, and even basic architecture can be fun. The Lego Math Train, in particular, will be an enormous tool to learn as so many kids with ASD love trains and the hands on will be invaluable.
