Superheroes will have the opportunity to choose where they sit to complete their independent work. Giving the superheroes a chance to choose what suits their personal learning style will enhance their work. Every day is a new day to learn something new. Last year the superheroes were given the choice to sit on the floor with clipboards to complete their work and it worked for some. They were taught the policies and procedures for this way of completing their work and they were successful. The superheroes were more engaged in their work, and the data showed success. Picture a classroom full of superheroes sitting in their preferred seating completing their work more engaged, less disruptive. I would like to offer the new superheroes this year more options such as the wobble seats. Giving those students that have the wiggles the option to sit on these wobble seats will allow them to feel like they are in charge of their learning. The comfy floor seats paired with the writing/laptop stations will give more options for the students to choose from. The inflatable chairs can be used in the reading nook or in other areas of the classroom to offer a comfortable place to imagine while they read or use their imaginations. Giving the superheroes more options to choose that matches their learning style will enhance their learning every single day. Each day is a new day to learn something new. If they are given the choice of comfort with the proper instruction for each type of seating, this will ensure success throughout the year.
