Students work on different assignments and levels at any given time. Students need to be able to listen to instructional videos and information without disturbing others and at a comfortable hearing level. Since the majority of students are from low income households it has been difficult for them to purchase headphones to bring to school. Having a class set will ensure that every student can succeed and no one is left behind. Students are eager to learn as much as possible in an effort to prepare for high school next year. Students are regularly requesting headphones that I am not able to supply. Having these headphones would be a great accomplishment to assist students in lowering frustrations from not being able to hear academic information during self-directed Learning sessions.
