All of the books that I chose for this project are high interest titles/topics for seventh graders. Several of the authors are popular among teens, and other books are the first in a series. Hopefully, by reading the first book of a series, it inspires the kids to continue reading. Reading in small groups helps foster conversation, promote goal setting, and create a bonded reading community. Middle school students benefit greatly from reading with a partner or in a trio. Therefore, each title was requested in groups of three. This ensures that no student will be alone and will always have a book partner.
