Out teenagers need a safe place where they can let their create juices follow. There no better place than the school media center. This project is requesting a variety materials including scissors, Loom and Loopers kits with refills, Crayola colored pencils, Tote 'n Go bags, tape, beads, and a pencil sharpener. These supplies will serve as the foundation of our school's new Tinker Space, and will allow students the ability to create, design, and explore in a way they cannot in a traditional classroom setting. Additionally, these materials afford students the opportunity to discover different possible career avenues. Through various projects and activities, students will explore the world of art, design, science, and engineering, and broaden their horizons. These supplies have the potential to alter a student's life forever. Because of their exposure to the various learning opportunities in our TInker Space, students will enter college or the workforce more prepared and equipped to handle the challenges they face.
