My students love sharing answers in a hands-on manner with the use of individual whiteboards. This method is a win-win for me as a teacher because I’m able to formatively assess my students while allowing them to have fun and share a response. With this method, everyone has the opportunity to share without feeling left out. Our current “whiteboards” consist of a white sheet of paper in a page protector, and while this method works, I’d like to be able to provide my students with a quality and sturdy writing surface that will not get wrinkled or bent up in their desk. Second graders are tough on flimsy materials!
