These items will help keep my classroom atmosphere comfortable and inviting. We need tissues, markers, and headphones. I have also requested a Qball microphone. Engagement and comfort is the goal for my students so they can fully learn every day. Life skills are even more important than the skills of computer software, so it is imperative to keep a comfortable environment. The microphone ball will help students feel empowered to find their voice during our classroom discussions. I encourage all my students to find their voice so they are not spoken for. It's important for students to know when to speak up and when to listen to their peers. We practice this on a weekly basis, and this tool will be a major help!
