My students go to school in a low income area. They don't necessarily have access to the things they need at home, and they definitely don't have access to all the educational tools they would benefit from at school. Giving them access to these things could push my students further in math than they could go with simply a pencil and a piece of paper. My students may only be nine years old, but they have a serious drive to succeed in life. These are children who have specific universities picked out, dream about their future careers, and care about their education more than your average fourth grader does.
