Our middle school humanities classroom is filled to the brim with young minds eager to have their voices heard. Every year I work hard to improve their learning environment and provide a space where they feel comfortable and safe sharing and uplifting their identities. I believe that all students have the power to advocate for their own potential and the potential of their communities using the greatest assets of their personal identity.
