Creative craft activities will allow students with learning disabilities, speech and language impairment who often are also learning English a chance to express themselves through different mediums and gain confidence along the way. Donating craft supplies helps our students in many ways; it builds fine motor, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills in many area academic areas. Working with craft materials, for example, teaches young students about the identification of shapes, color,s and textures. Craft activities encourage children to play and experiment in a fun and relaxed environment. Donated craft supplies intend to be used for learning from home and within the classroom.
