Students will be able to engage in reading high interest articles on websites such as National Geographic for Kids. Students will also be able to build fluency in reading through "Read Naturally". A Chromebook in my classroom will help students become more proficient in 21st century skills such as learning to type and print their writing projects. Also, they will refine basic addition and subtraction skills in math through DreamBox math. Having a Chromebook available in our classroom will also create motivation for students to complete their class work so they can "publish" their work on the computer, or use it as a reward to read more or play math games when they finish their work!
