What an amazing idea that students can brainstorm, think, dream, and design, and then have their ideas come to life and literally sit in their hands! When students work to design book scenery and characters for a book report/project, they will have a phenomenal tool to allow them to do that. This 3D printer will provide that for them. When students design their prototype air purification system for our ecosystems project, where they've studied air quality in North Carolina and Chengdu, China, they will be able to see their work come to life. Students will be able to create puppets for stories they've written, models for the buildings they've learned about in Washington, D.C., or a model of weaponry/tools from NC Colonial times.
