My students need bouncy bands, ball chairs, stability ball seats and more for flexible seating options to aid in their ability to stay engaged during lessons. These tools will help students fidget and move during instruction. The goal is to teach them how to appropriately use these tools so that they can focus on lessons and find new gain emotional control when upset. Students will use these materials in multiple settings throughout the school day. Some of the materials will be utilized in the general education classroom to help students during whole group instructional times. Others will be utilized in the resource room for cool down situations and small group instruction. The ball chair and stability balls will be used as a replacement for chairs for students. Cushions and the bagel will be used on top of students current chairs to allow for movement as needed. Bouncy bands will also be used with students current chairs to allow for foot movement. The multi cube and balance seat will be used during whole group instruction for students to have movement during lesson times.
