Sensory supports helps increase participation and illicit positive behavior in the classroom in way that is natural as possible. Sensory tools also help promote Social and Emotional Learning! Social and Emotional Learning is a process to help children gain important skills for developing positive relationships, behaving appropriately, and handling challenging situations effectively. It helps a child recognize and manage emotions, think about their feelings and how they should act, and regulate behavior based on throughout decision making.
