Using the book Too Many Dogs, my team and I will help students who struggle with reading become avid readers. They will learn to interact with the story to comprehend it and share what they have learned with others. It is our hope these skills will be carried over into the classroom to make them more successful. The book Killer Flood stirs the imagination and curiosity to start asking questions about this text. By getting them excited about a book, it becomes easier for them to want to read. In the small group setting they are more comfortable to take the risks to reach their reading goals.

About my class
