This flexible seating will be used at my teacher led center. Currently, students have to carry their own chairs from their assigned classroom seat to the center table during group time. Having this seats in my class will not only motivate my students to come the Differentiated instruction Center, but will also optimize instructional time. This seats are also easy to carry and less heavy than our traditional school chairs. Often students unintentionally hit each other during this transition making it unsafe for them to move furniture around. Having This flexible seating will make it more comfortable for all my students to sit on and there will be no movement of furniture needed for center time. This center is used during both the Math and science instructional block.
